The CIB is my most cherished award.When I see a soldier with a CIB I know he paid his dues. Infantrymen had a very tough job. If you see a soldier with a Combat Infantry Badge you know he saw action. As far as I know the CIB is the only thing extra that the Army gives to recognize the infantry for their duty. It is my opinion that infantry soldiers can't get enough recognition for what they did.
      This site hopes to show the infantry soldier a small portion of the respect that he has earned.
