This is me on my 1985 Harley-Davidson FLTC Tour
Glide Classic. It's my "new" Harley. I bought it new, trading in my
old 1963 "Panhead" FL Duo-Glide Police Special. (I also sold my 1940
Ford, 1954 XK-120 Jaguar and 1962 Buick Special convertible. They
were all fun, but I didn't have time to fix them up any more.) The
Harley's my commuting vehicle of choice when I need to go farther and
faster than my recumbent bike allows. I have a blast with it, and my
kids especially love it!
I've recently hot-rodded it with an Andrews EV27
camshaft, new pistons, an S&S Super E carburetor, a RevTech
Digital ignition module with a Screamin' Eagle coil, Crane Cams'
spiral core plug wires, Paughco independent dual exhausts, and the
straight-through Custom Chrome mufflers pictured. Perhaps you can't
make a racehorse out of a Hog, but you sure can make a meaner
Hog!
