My wife is the love of my life. She's perpetually in my thoughts
and dreams. She can always quicken my pulse, and she gives me a
wonderful warmth deep inside with just a smile or a pat. I yearn for
her when I'm gone away. I always look for something to bring back to
please her. When she's away, my home is a hollow shell.
My wife is beautiful. I see many pretty women every day, but she
sets the standard for them all.
My wife is my joy. We share countless laughs and smiles. Her
humor has brightened many a dreary day.
My wife is my comfort. She's warm, soft and cuddly. She's better
than any teddy bear, "blankie," pillow or sock monkey.
My wife is my closest friend. She is the only one with whom I can
share my deepest feelings and secrets. I know she will never desert
me or betray me.
My wife is my counselor. She has great wisdom and insight, and I
seek her advice on many difficult decisions.
My wife is the mother of my children. I trust her to care for
them lovingly, to teach and correct them, and to be a good example of
Christian love to them.
My wife is an organizer and a manager. She sees to it that I keep
my commitments, that my bills are paid, and that my socks match.
My wife is a wonderful cook. She's also my nutrition and fitness
counselor. (I'm out of her sight too much for her to be fully
effective in this role, however.)
My wife is a cheerleader. She believes in me even when I doubt
myself, and she always encourages me to get back up and try again.
She's often my sharpest critic. She's always constructive about this.
I believe she wants others to think as highly of me as she does.
My wife is selfless and devoted to her family, and a tireless
worker. She continually sacrifices her time, energy, and desires to
prepare ahead for our needs.
Like God himself, my wife is love. She is God's gift to me, and I
thank him for her. I love her, and I will treasure her for the rest
of our life together.
