This is my RANS Stratus recumbent bicycle, with me in typical commuting attire. I love this bike! It's comfortable, fast, and safe. No more painful rear end, aching neck, or numb hands! No more fear of faceplanting if I go down. Car drivers notice me! (I worry when they don't.) I even get lots of nice friendly greetings from strangers in traffic. (The most common is "Cool bike!") UPDATE: I just sold this bike, as I soon will my Harley and mountain bike. My broken right arm with a titanium replacement for the upper humerus (theresult of a Harley crash) has knocked me out of my enthusiasm for two-wheelers. :-(
