Feld Hellschreiber
Feld Hellschreiber
Invented by Dr. Rudolf Hell
in the late 1920's
Rudolf Hell
Passed away in 2002
The first Scanned Text communications. It was used by the German Army
In WWII. Very old mode now rediscovered for Amateur Radio use.

Feld Hellschreiber is a on/off keying like CW is
instead of deciphering the mode with your ears you are deciphering  with your eyes
it is a uncoded mode. Which means when it is displayed with maybe a static crash
it will distort the text some like in a Analog signal. but the good thing about the mode is
you can still recover the text even if it a little distorted, and in other modes a Error
Might change the text into another text or is lost with no recovery.
Feld Hell is a pretty nice mode to us and very simple to operate
good sensitivity and has a bandwidth of 450hz, Baud rate of 122.5
and a speed of 25wpm.
And you can use multi of different fonts if you wish with the newer programs
some fonts will be slower than others but some will show up better at the receivers
