MT63
63 Multi Tone
MT63 is a newer mode and it comes in three different bandwidths of 500hz, 1khz, 2khz
By, using 63 tones spread across a wider bandwidth it is more immune to Static crashes
and against interferences and has a strong FEC on it.
And also the through put is much faster than other modes up to 200wpm.
In my experiences that MT63 is the most robust mode there is
and the the sensitivity is real good and I have had 100% copy on people when had
A strong Data Station right in the middle of the Bandpass.
And when a solar solar storm came through MT63 seemed to be the only
Mode that was working with great success
And this mode is very immune to Doppler shifting and multi path fading
it is great for sending Text very fast or even sending Binary files
The only bad thing that some people don't like it for is the bandwidth.
But, It isn't much wider than some other modes
Smaller than a 75 baud 850hz shift RTTY signal
About the same size as Clover
And smaller than SSB
