I can not believe what I just read. The Pope says he hopes the war in Iraq does not divide the world's religions. Let me type that again. The Pope says he hopes the war in Iraq does not divide the world's religions. That is like saying I hope that Briannah 5th birthday doesn't make her 5 years old. The world’s religions are ALREADY divided. They have been since, well, forever. How out of touch is the Pope? His own institution, Catholicism is as fragmented as any. This is more proof that many people these days do not have a clue. Look at Israel and the Palestinians. Look at Northern India/Pakistan. Look at what went down in Kosovo. Check out a number of spots in Africa. All of these hot spots have religion at their roots. ‘Religion’ is very dangerous and can cause much pain and suffering. I don’t need religion. I need a Savior. I need someone who can make things right between me and the God who created all things. I need someone who made himself man, came dwelt with us, died, rose again, and is still alive. Jesus is the cure for ‘divided religions’.
