I've been reading some blogs that other folks have posted. Boy, I hope I never become so self absorbed! :) I just want to post what's going on with me and give reports for those I don't see very often. That number has grown since I became unemployed. It's coming up on 2 months now. One of the stranger things I have dealt with during this hiatus from the working world is the war in Iraq. Going through a big event without a 'water cooler' is strange to me. In the past I have had that group of people that I may not be best friends with to share ideas with and kick around what we think. It's easier sometimes to talk about such heavy things with those you aren't really close to. I guess there is no fear of making someone mad who you'd really rather not anger.

On the music front... I sat down last night to write, and just ending up reading my Bible with nothing written afterwards. And that's OK. I did pick up the guitar and fire up the keyboard, but nothing found it's way to paper. Maybe I'll get something down tonight.
