It's been a long week and I am tired. But not so tired I'm not gonna give you some highlights.

Wednesday we had our first Youth Meeting of the fall. Being this is my first year leading this particular group I was a bit unsure of how it would go. It was awesome. We had 12 youth and 3 regulars were out of town. I was very encouraged and I think our regulars were as well. We have this big super huge lock-in coming up the first weekend of October. It should be a really good time and hopefully the kids will learn something. That's the point, right? Our youth can have fun doing plenty of things, but Jesus isn't always AT or a CENTRAL THEME in 'those things.'

Closed a huge deal at work this week. Which sounds like this for me... Cha Ching! I have really been blessed at my new job. God is good.

My friend Ernie has some junk about Kevin Smith and the movie 'Dogma' on his blog. All I have to say about Kevin Smith is I hope the Lord changes his heart. He has some major anger going on as it applies to Christianity. That said, I think to watch his movies, and laugh, and say don't take him seriously is irresponsible. You just can't give support to a guy who hates truth so much. To watch and understand there is an agenda behind it, no matter how lighthearted it seems, is another story. So it's not that you DO or DO NOT take him seriously. You take him for what he IS. That's all I'll say about that.
