OK, the ten most important artists in Rock 'n' Roll as I see it. Without these folks, there'd be no Rock, Pop, or Soul in our lives. Music would totally suck, not just mostly suck like it does right now. Other than one of these artist/bands, they are really in no particular order.

- Jimi Hendrix

- Elvis Presley

- Led Zeppellin

- Bob Dylan

#1 - The Beatles - What can be said that hasn't already been? They turned the music world on it's ear. They took the baton from Elvis and sprinted a marathon with it.

It's sad that my list doesn't include anyone who got their start in the last 30 year or so. There is just no one out there who measures up in the areas of impact, influence, and staying power.
