I finally watched the extended DVD for LOTR: Two Towers. The added scenes are really great and add quite a bit to the movie. It also follows the book even more closely. I am extremely anxious to see RotK. As one who has read the books, I just know it will be awesome. One of the extra discs that comes with the Two Towers has a small documentary called " The Origins of Middle Earth" where they discuss how Tolkien came up with the whole idea. It's a bunch of intellectual types commenting mostly. It is funny how secular their slant is. When they mention C.S. Lewis as a friend of Tolkien, all that is mentioned is that he is an atheist. HELLO! He became a believer and anything important he did was as a Christian. From this documentary, if you didn't know that already, you'd never have known at all. Tolkien's Christianity was not discussed either. It was very disappointing. For those who do not read and do not know the history of these men, well, they play upon their ignorance and feed them what they want them to have. No, it's not disappointing, it's disgusting and deceitful.
Oh, Rainbow 6 III for the Xbox is just plain awesome. Add to it the fact that the online play is sweet and I have a game now that I could really get addicted to. I hope to post more about it later.
