It's Christmas Eve and I am at work. That stinks. At least I am off the rest of the week. Hopefully, we will get to leave early today.
Here is a look into my Christmas... Tonight will set off a celebration in my family's and Evette's that we will get to enjoy the next few days. Christmas Eve is at my Mom's with good food, good company, and kids unwrapping presents. Then we'll head home and try our best to get the kids asleep at a decent hour so 'Santa' can get things ready. I heard that Santa wants cinnamon rolls this year as opposed to sugar cookies. We'll get up tomorrow, at the crack of dawn I am sure, and the kids will tear into their haul. Then we'll have some breakfast, play with toys, and get ready to head out. Dinner is usually at her Mom's. By tomorrow night, I am gonna be T-I-R-E-D Tired. Most of Evette's family will be in town Friday, so I am sure that we'll have more festivities then.
So that's how it will go. I look foward to posting some stories about this year's Holiday.
Everyone please remember, the whole reason we do all of this the birth of our Savior, and for many of us, our Lord. The presents and food and laughing are all great, but don't forget that Jesus is the why. So remember, without the resurrection of Easter, Christmas is just some guys birthday.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone!!!
