Our company dinner/party was last night at Harmony Grocery. If you have not been there, go. The food is great and the atmosphere is very cozy. I think it would be a really good place to take your woman for a little something special. But be ready to pay a little more than Chili's or Cheddars. :)
I haven't see Return of the King yet and it is killing me to keep reading about how good it is. I still feel really sorry for those who have seen the movies and didn't get to read the books first. You've been robbed of the chance to imagine Middle Earth on your own. Now, Peter Jackson's vision is very good and in some ways, looks a lot like I imagined. However, there is no substitute for using your own imagination. When you couple that with watching the movies it's neat to be able to sit through different parts and think, "Wow, that's just how I imagined it!" Anyway, if you have watched the movies and not read the books, you still need to read them. Glorious is the best word I can come up with for them.
Christmas time is upon us. With the snow the last couple of days, it really is feeling like Christmas. I love watching my kids enjoy all the things kids enjoy during the holidays. It really takes you back to when you were little. I bought Rickey a Sit 'n Spin. I can't wait for him to get it. I remember my first Sit 'n Spin and how much fun it was. Well now they light up and play music as you spin. Cool! I think they should make adult versions of the thing. That would be awesome!!! And an adult Green Machine. I think they actually make those. I want one.
How about those slackers Ernie and Clint?
