Hey, Ya Know What?

There is something I'd like to suggest that all of you do. Sit back and take a good hard look at the people around you, whether it's family, friends, or other. You really need to take stock and figure both who is good for you, who truly cares, and who you can count on and vice versa. If you don't, you end up giving a lot of your time to people you shouldn't, while neglecting the ones who need and want you around. I've had a crazy year, and it's coming to a close. I've seen people come and go and found out a lot about where I stand with all of the people I have been surrounded by. I have learned, and sometimes the hard way, where I stand with different folks. And whether positive or negative, it's all good. I know where to focus my time, and those who have disappeared or whatever, know where to focus theirs. It's really a win win situation. Believe me, I don't want to waste anyone's time anymore than I want to waste my own.

So, to put it bluntly, know who is important and who is not. Then do the right thing with that info. I hope that didn't come across in a depressing way.

I am beyond glad it's Friday. I only wish the weekend didn't fly by so fast. Speaking of flying by... It's almost Christmas. It gets here quicker and quicker it seems. Maybe having a gaggle of kids to buy for has something to do with that! Also, in about a month, I will have been gone from my last job for a year. It seems like it was just yesterday that they laid me off.
