One year ago today I left my job at Charter never to return. I was laid off with about 15 other people. It was very sad. I had to leave a lot of good friends behind. For a little while I was pretty lost on what to do, but I knew I'd find another job and find it soon enough. Now, a year later, I've been at my current job for 8 months and in many am better off than I was a year ago. If I could combine what I do here with all the friendships I left behind, I'd be working at as close to the perfect job as possible. And we all know work is never perfect. It's just neat to compare things now to that very crappy day last year.

I'm having a very hard time deciding what to eat for lunch today. All I know is I am hungry. I'll give an update later as to what happened.
