Steve totally missed it. I did not say that there was nothing important out there right now. I was describing an overall climate that the music scene is currently in and was tearing 'labels' and not bands or music. Sure there is plenty out there I like and think is both good and important. Foo Fighters, Incubus, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews, and on and on... If you are going to fire a shot, make sure it's the right bullet. I simply think the term 'Modern Rock' is too watered down. I don't know what it means anymore. Also, notice I used words and phrases like 'nearly anything'. I was quoted as saying "anyone" can sing like Creed's frontman. That is not what I said, go back and read. You make a good point about Tom Petty, Bon Scott, and Kurt Cobain though. However, they didn't rip off someone else's style cause they couldn't hold pitch. :)

Pick your fight and bring the Ruckus, but for goodness sakes get the facts and ideas straight. Love yuns...
