A few more one hit wonders...
Life is a Highway - Tom Cochrane - Technically he had a couple of hits with his previous band Red Rider. But as a solo artist, this was it. We've heard this song in commercials, TV's shows and movies. It is a 'pump' song. One that makes you simply high on life. It induces acrobatics at times, given the right kind of company(like Steve and Robbie).
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm - Crash Test Dummies - I remember thinking, dude, that guy is the greatest baritone I've ever heard.
Turn up the Radio - Autograph - Classic 80's Rock. This was a really rockin' song.
Right on Track - Breakfast Club - Classic 80's Pop. This one just makes you feel good and you can dance to it.
She's Like the Wind - Patrick Swayze - Make fun of me and give me a hard time, but I liked this song. He had a decent voice and it's a good love song.
Melt With You - Modern English - How gay were these dudes?
Ballad of Jayne - LA Gunns - I have the cassette tape somewhere...
So there ya go. That sort of rounds out a personal top ten (11) if you count yesterday's post.
