Hey, Ya Know What?

I was gonna go off on Ernie for the Rocky Horror Picture show mention last night but I just don't have the energy. Let me just say this... The whole Rocky Horror experience is totally overrated. I went and the whole shpeel nearly 15 years ago and never felt the need to go do it again. It was a cult classic that is now in the mainstream because it's just one of those 'cool' things to do. It has somehow become trendy, which if you really think about it, is weird.

Thinking about the above has me thinking on a another track... My generation has really contributed nothing lasting to society yet. We all hop onto a bunch of old things, which is not a bad thing, while never really creating a legacy of our own. If we are marked by anything, it's apathy. But ya know, it can't be as bad as I am thinking. I think we all need to spend some time fleshing out what we have contributed to our culture as a generation. It could be great books, movies, music, political movements, etc...

The Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance show is getting down to the nitty gritty. I think that the Coy's are going to totally freak out, especially Randi, when they find out all of the hidden details. I'm anxious to the conclusion. Best moment last night: All the women were sitting around discussing the wedding cake and how you freeze the top layer to eat on the first anniversary. Well, Steve's 'Mom' says she thought you froze it to remember the day, kind of like you do with the placenta. OMG. I laughed so hard. The looks on their faces were fantastic.
