Mike, I've got those Everlast Albums. But if you want 'em, you have to come to my house!
Cover songs... Great topic. I haven't heard the 311 cover of Lovesong yet, but Clint, you know I love the Cure so it will take a lot for me to like it. Today I will 'cover' a few of the good covers. Tomorrow, we'll do bad.
Killing Me Softly - Recorded by Roberta Flack and covered by the Fugees - I am not a big hip hop fan, but I loved the Fugees and this cover was the bomb.
Lovers in a Dangerous Time - Recorded by Bruce Cockburn and covered by Barenaked Ladies - I love the Ladies and this song is so smooth.
The Man Who Sold the World - Recorded by David Bowie and covered by Nirvana - This was on their Unplugged album. One of the best abums of the 90's.
Superstition - Recorded by Stevie Wonder and covered by Stevie Ray Vaughn - I saw SRV play this one live at Freedom on a Friday the 13th when I was in High School. How cool is that?
Baker Street - Recorded by Gerry Raferty and covered by the Foo Fighter - I remember loving this song in the 70's as a kid and then one of my favorite bands does a great cover.
Speaking of the Foo Fighters and covers, if you haven't heard them spoof creed before, find it. It is one of the funniest things you will ever listen to.
