Weekend bowling update. In 3 games on Saturday I averaged 181 with a high of 203. The lane we were on was awesome. It was a hook fest. You could really get a nice hook on it. At one point I had 5 straight strikes. That was a definite first for me. On the subject of bowling... In Kingsport we have one bowling alley now with 16 lanes. Now, this is a nice alley. All new equipment, great lane conditions, the works. However, 16 lanes for one city just isn't cuttin' it. It is so stinkin' hard to get a lane. It seems everyone is into bowling now and those of us who have enjoyed it for years are suffering. Someone needs to open up the alley that closed down on 11W. There are like 36 lanes there. Plus it's 2 minutes from my house... :)

I didn't watch the Grammy's last night. I just didn't care. And looking over the winners, I see I did the right thing. When Outkast wins Album of the year, we've got some problems. Of course, non of the other nominees up for that award were that great either. Just go back and look at former winners of that award and then look at this year's nominees if you want to get some perspective.
