Hey, Ya Know What?

So I'm sitting in Sunday School yesterday. We have Sunday Classes after the worship service. Well, I'm sitting there and all of the sudden it feels like someone stuck a Rambo knife in the lower left side of my back. Hmmmm. That's strange. Never felt anything like that before. So I get up, and excuse myself. I walk around a moment and now I am breaking out in a sweat and my breath is get short. I find a couch and lay down. The pain is intensifying. Evette starts to worry and tracks me down. I tell her I am in severe pain, the worst of my life. She goes back downstairs and finds my Dad. He comes running and looks worried. "Come on, let's go to the hospital." I hate hospitals, but I am not going to argue while I feel like I am dying. So we get to the emergency room and thankfully it is slow there. We check in and sit to wait. OK, pain is growing to a crescendo and I am about to climb the walls. I walk around a bit and it starts to ease off. Now I am back in the examining room. After a pain shot, urine sample, x-ray and exam, I've got a kidney stone. As of this posting, it still hasn't passed. From what I understand, that is going to be the worst part. There has been some pain today, but they gave me some good pain medicine. Pray for me. I just want this to end and end here at home, not at the hospital. But if it doesn't pass soon, they may have to make it pass for me. I've torn up my knee, broken bones, and had some pretty good cuts. Nothing compares to the pain I felt yesterday. I hope none of you ever have to deal with this. If you already have, well, I feel your pain.

Other than that, it was a good weekend.
