Alrighty... First things first the company I work for, Automation Solutions, was bought out Friday by Saratoga Technologies. What does this mean? Well, I am still employed and look to have to some new opportunities I didn't have before. But pray for me, it's still kinda scary.

Van Helsing... Went and saw it last night with my Dad and Rob. Ok, first, awesome special effects. Oh, and this may get me in trouble with Evette, but the comedy is worth it. I dub Kate Beckinsale, Van Hottie. The acting was mediocre, but the guy who played Drac was so over the top at times that Rob and I were literally rolling. Best character/actor in the film was David Wenham (Faramir LOTR) as Carl. He was great and it was a real departure from the LOTR role. Overall, it wasn't in the top 10-20% of my personal movie list, but it wasn't the bottom 20 either. I am sure this movie will turn on the teen population much more than the adult, but it is worth watching.
