The Day After
Well, after reading the Kingsport Times News today, we were very very blessed. A tornado hit our neighborhood. Evette was there with the kids and told me she thought it was a tornado and that's what it turned out to be. So I am very thankful this morning that my family was kept safe and our house avoided serious damage. We live about an 1/8th of a mile from where the funnel cloud was witnessed to have touched down. The "path that continued half a mile that way" that you read about had my house in it. We do have a lot of clean up to do and all the wiring to the house has to be redone. I went back home early this morning to see if anything had been done on the power side of things. There is so much damage everywhere that it may be a while. So we may continue to be refugees/vagabonds for another day or so.
I'll return with more later...
