Hey there people. It's me it's me, it's Richie D! Just got in from some disc golf at Borden with Ern and Clint. I shot a -12 and a -10 today in my 2 rounds. I am more than pleased. I think I am going to start going to tourney's again.

I agree with Ernie, but will be even more harsh. If you are in our circle of cool people and didn't read the books before the LotR movies you are a flat out poser. The cut scenes took absolutely nothing away from me because, you guessed it, I read the books before the movies. Heck I had read them twice and Rob had knocked them out like 17 times already or something. If you did read the books and have an open mind, you know exactly how great of a job Jackson did in bringing this to the screen. You'll also know that the 3 parts aren't parts at. Tolkien wrote one big massive book and the publishers broke it into AND gave the parts their names. Yes, Tolkien never named the 3 parts. Interesting huh?

Still job hunting. I am going to be very deliberate in my search. No way so I want the wrong job. And no way do I want to go back to anything based on sales or commission. I do have 4 kids to feed ya know. I do have some good warm leads, so hopefully God will steer me the right way. He knows better than I do what I am to be doing.

We had a surprise family birthday party for Rob the other with no kids allowed. Rob is now 30. It was awesome. Nothing like your siblings and even your mom getting wild and crazy on some Karaoke. It was an absolute blast. I found don't 'Don't Know Much' and Robbie put on his best Aaron Neville. Other highlights... Evette and I doing 'Don't you want me baby' by Human League from the 80's... Rob's rendition of Tenacious D's 'Wonderboy'... Rachel and Rebecca on various duets. I tell ya, there are some pretty good singers in our family.:)

Finally, I passed the stone and got confirmed by the doctor today, Rock!
