OK, Ern, calm down and don't talk about the news if you don't keep up with it. We know exactly why went to Iraq. After 9/11, we started a war on terrorism. This included more than Al Queda(and no matter what the media says, there is a link). Saddam Hussein was not forthcoming on the search for his WMD's since the first Gulf War. We, the United States, went to the UN and got a resolution that if he didn't cooperate fully with the inspectors, we would use force. Do you know what Saddam did? Do you know what the media always fails to mention in this discussion? That's right, he did not cooperate. Do you know how many other countries in this world signed on to our war against Iraq? Over 100. The media says we did it unilaterally. And even if none of that were true, we have now stopped the murder and torture of thousands of people and on June 30th, we will hand over a government BY the PEOPLE to the Iraqi's. Sure, we all lie. Sure politicians are crooked a lot of the time. However, our president is a man of principles and does not make decisions because they are going to help him politically. He makes decisions based on what he believes in. Clinton would never do that because it would be taking a risk and he may not get re-elected. We have lost some lives in the fight so far, but the number is so low in war terms we shouldn't have that discussion the way we are having it. But all the liberals and the media can talk about are the losses and not the gains.

Ern, I love ya, but if you don't know why we went to Iraq, then you are a slave to the liberal media. You are hearing and seeing what they want you to hear. You have to look deeper than what they tell you and pay attention to the details. They may tell you truth, but they may do it only once and it will probably be veiled. FoxNews is a good source to add to your rotation to help with that.

Hopefully, Bush will be re-elected, and if so, watch for possible attacks in Tehran, or Damascus. That's right, Iran and Syria. They have as many or more terrorists there as Iraq and Afghanistan. The media will again say that they had nothing to do with 9/11 and will miss the whole point. These people hate us. If we had them to dinner, sang Kum Bye Yah, told them their way of life was better and offered them all we had, they'd still rather behead us than look at us.

If Bush is not re-elected, look for attacks in Washington, Chicago, and New York. That's right, the USA. The reason there has not been another 9/11 is because we are taking the war to them. We can not make them any more mad. We can not make them hate us more. That reached critical mass way before any war.
