Well, I went to see Chronicles of Riddick last night. I was a huge fan of Pitch Black and am surprised at how so few people have seen it. I went in last night with very very low expectations. I mean, come on, it was a sci-fi sequel for a non-franchise. Those always suck. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. It was far from one of the best movies ever and had some HUGE plot holes and contradictions(how do you go out in -300 degree temps with hardly any clothes and does the shadow really protect from 700 degree temps?). The story line was very unoriginal and surely they could come up with a better bad guy name than Necromongers. That just sounds plain silly. BUT the action sequences were really good and the special effects for the most part were pretty cool. This is the kind of role I really don't mind watching Vin Diesel in. on a scale of 5, it's easily a 3 1/2.
