Why is it that a city explodes when their 5A football team clobbers a 2A team? I mean come on, said team has almost as many people on the field with their players and band as the 2A team has enrolled. Add to that the fact that this particular 5A team has stolen players from the surrounding county schools for years and what's the big deal? And why does anyone who didn't attend said school(or work at Eastman or go to one of the 'big' churches) is forever an outsider in their own town? Things to ponder I guess. I wonder what it's like to be an insider anyway?

So, I think I will start a short, honest, and fair series about the town I grew up in and love with all my heart. Hopefully, even though I went to a 2A county school where the colors were black and gold, I'll get it right. :)
