Buggin'

Well, I hate to do it, but it's time to blow off some steam and post some thinks that bug me.

First, did you see this? Are you kidding me? Is there a more hideously heartless owner and franchise in all of sports? One of the Devil Rays players couldn't even come because his house was flooded. Sheesh. This is why it is so hard for me to like professional sports these days.

Ok, here's another. How do 'close talkers' rank with you? Recently I dealt with a close talker. Nice enough person, but it really unnerves me when talking to one person and all the sudden this other person appears, you turn and BOOM! they are about to touch your face with their nose. Why do some people have to be so close to talk to you? I guess some could be hard of hearing, but gracious, not some of the ones I've encountered.

Number 3. The mattress on our bed. It's like 25 years old or something and my back has aged about that much in the last little bit. If there is anything I'd really like to buy right now and just can't afford it, it's a new bedding set.

Oh yeah, letdowns. I've had so many in my life you'd think I'd be used to them by now, especially the smaller ones. Uh uh. They hit as fresh as the first. Not that my life has been full of them and I grew up miserable mind you. We all have our fair share. I just wished they were fewer and further between.
