Maybe the NBA is Placebo?
So, when I first read the bathroom blog, "It's All Placebo", I thought, what makes this person feel like nothing is real? I bet there are plenty of people who go through life never really feeling anything 'real'. I wonder what this particular person has had thrown at them to ,ake such a thought even pop into their head. Maybe there are some deep things going with them. Then I thought, "nah, this place serves alcohol, they could have been lit".
Indy/Detroit. Wow. So who was wrong? They all were, players and fans. And why are we so surprised to see this happen when there is violence all around us? I go back to the baseball brawl that involved Texas and Oakland that happened in the stands. Why do expect people with lots of money to act any differently than they did before they had millions? Money does not change who a person is on the inside. I think that David Stern could have done a better job a long time ago at curbing this stuff, but that's all past. He's made a statement now, and hopefully, things will improve in the NBA.
