I learned a lesson today. I've not been married as long as some, but at nearly ten years, most folks would think you have it licked. Uh, no. I won't have it licked in ___ years. What did I learn? Always make sure you are presenting your wife in the best light possible to others, EVEN when you are not exactly happy with her. If you don't, there will be something to deal with later. Yes, I just admitted to being a thoughtless jerk. I'm glad she is willing to overlook me sometimes.

So, Vette is out of school for nearly a month! Hallelujah! We both get a break! I know she thinks I am glad because won't have the kids by myself so much, and that will be nice. But, and don't tell her, I actually miss her some evenings. Oh wait, she'll read this. Maybe I should hit the backspace key... :)
