Baby you can drive my car
Ok, that was the most boring Super Bowl I've seen in a while. Paul McCartney at halftime is the only thing that saved it. I know, I saw Ernie go on and on about it. And I am sure the press is eating it up. I refuse to listen to them. Great defenses? How about poor offense. You can spout off all the stats you want. McNabb threw some horrid balls and they were all at the worst time possible. Oh yeah, I though the Eagles had a running back this year? And what was with the clock management? I mean, the Eagle beat themselves so bad that all the Pats had to do was show up, literally. I love football. And I love the NFL, more than anyone I know. And for that to be the big game, the Super Bowl, the grandaddy of all grandaddy's, it was lacking. It didn't live up to the hype and there were at least 10 other games I saw this year that were more enjoyable. Maybe I'm just bitter because none of my teams were in it. No, I can't waver on this. It wasn't a game worthy of the Super Bowl. It was a very forgettable game and history will prove that out. The press will only remember it as solidifying Brady as the 'new Montana'. Whatever.
