Sleeping very soundly on a Saturday morning

It was actually Monday morning at about 3:00 AM. Evette shakes me awake and says she's in pain. Her stomach was hurting on the right side in the area of her appendix. After a few minutes she decides she needs to go to the emergency room and will drive herself while I stay back with the kids. In hindsight, I should have called someone so I could have gone with her. But it worked out. So, I call her like every 30 minutes for updates. She was there for 3 and 1/2 hours. It ends up they are pretty sure she has a kidney stone due to some substances in her urine. She's was doing better last night and seemed to be this morning. It hurts off and on so the booger must be moving. Hopefully it will move on out soon.

Had a nice time visiting with Ern this weekend. We even caught local Johnson City band Rob Russell and the Sore Losers. I've seen them about 5 or 6 times and really like their music. This time they actually did a few cover; Baba O-Reilly by the Who, Help! By the Beatles and Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. Good show. It kept looking like it would rain on Saturday so we never made it to the disc golf course. Visited with The House of Worship on Sunday before heading back. They were really nice folks.

  • Man, I hate to hear that. But you were the only one to go see Evette Wagner and the Sore Kidneys that night. :) No, seriously...Evette, get well soon. You guys are always in my thoughts and prayers. Lata playa.
