Hagan-Stone Park

From I-40/I-85 in Greensboro take exit #126-US Highway 421 South.

Follow US 421 South 6 ½ miles to Hagan-Stone Park Road (there is a stop light at this intersection)

Turn right on Hagan-Stone Park Road and proceed approximately 2 miles.

The main park entrance is on the right.

WCU is located in Cullowhee, NC, 5 miles south of Sylva on Route 107.


From Asheville, NC, take I-40 West to exit 27 onto 74 West. Stay on 74W to exit 85 in Sylva, take a left at the 2nd traffic light, follow Rt. 107 South to Cullowhee and WCU.

 
 
   
 
   
 
   

Directions to Nashville and Steeplechase Park:

  1. Stay on I-40 until you get to downtown Nashville
  2. Exit I-65 South towards Huntsville, AL - Go about 10 miles on I-65
  3. Exit 74 - Old Hickory Blvd
  4. Go West on Old Hickory Blvd - go past Granny White and Hillsboro - go about 5 miles past the interstate - When you see the golf course on your right the Steeplechase park is about one mile on the right.

    Directions to Steele Creek Park

    Take 11-E to State Hwy 394. Go towards Blountville. Turn right at second right onto Hwy 126. Stay on Hwy 126 for about seven miles. When you pass Akard Elementary School, the sign to Steele Creek Park is one mile. Turn Right and then Turn Right again. You will see the park.

    1. Take I-181/23 to Asheville
    2. Take I-240 to I-26
    3. Take I-26 to the Tryon/Rutherfordton Exit(U.S. 74 to Shelby-Charlotte)
    4. Stay on US 74 through Shelby
    5. Take I-85 North
    6. Take Billy Graham Parkway Exit
    7. Take I-77 South
    8. Take I-485 East
    9. Exit Johnston Road South Exit 61 (US 521) for about 1/2 mile until you see Ballantyne Resort

      Directions to Nashville and Steeplechase Park:

      1. Stay on I-40 until you get to downtown Nashville
      2. Exit I-65 South towards Huntsville, AL - Go about 10 miles on I-65

        Directions to Cherokee Blvd:
        Go to Knoxville via I-81 and I-40 and take either:

        1. James White Parkway and Neyland Drive Exit. Continue past UT Football Stadium. Turn left on Kingston Pike. Go approximately 1-2 miles on Kingston Pike until you get to Cherokee Blvd. Turn Left and stay on this road for about 2 miles. You will come to the river and see the action. If you have continued on Kingston Pike until you see retail development, you have gone too far. Oops!
        2. Alcoa Hwy Exit off of I-40 and then get on Kingston Pike(Do Not go across the river).
