Lily was rescued from the Crossville, TN shelter last November.  Today was her 10th birthday, and she celebrated with a birthday cake and party.
Lily's Chickenless Cake Recipe
1/2 cup ground up Hill's Prescription i/d kibble
1 can i/d
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup of water
Blend with mixer till batter is smooth.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes in a greased heart-shaped cake pan.  When cool, frost with fat-free yogurt, and decorate with whole i/d kibbles.
Serve with Viokase.
Why Viokase?  Lily Ruth Fluff has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) and cannot digest her food without enzymes.

Lily Woof and her family are planning to go to a Herding Fun Day next month.  Since none of them have ever herded sheep, Barney invited a sheep to the party.  They all got to practice for their Herding Instinct Test.
Lily woofed and penned the sheep.
Barney and Paris Lynn had no problems with the sheep, but Chessy said he'd rather herd ducks...
Chessy thought he recognized
this duck from the park.
Lily woofed, and the duck went where she told it to go.
Paris Lynn thought that she knew this duck from somewhere.  And Barney even kissed the duck on the nose.
Paris Lynn led the party goers in games of chase the corgi, corgi tag, and corgi sumo wrestling.  A good time was had by all.
